Universal size nappy

Picture

For those brave souls who have ventured into the world of washable nappies, mammasaver takes its collective hat off to you.

Mammasaver has undertaken a ridiculous amount of research into where to get the best value washable nappies.

One size fits all

A universal size would help cut down the cost of having to buy different sizes, and so 60cm x 60cm terry nappies from Junior Joy  to be the best value with good reviews.

They also stock flushable nappy liners very cheaply (on the same page). These liners would also stop you from having to handle too much poo.

Price match and trial kits

There’s also a company called cleangreennappy.co.uk who run a price match promise. They have a variety of styles and discounts on at any one time.

Nappy fairs

Some UK cities run ‘nappy fairs’ where washed, used nappies are sold by parents who can also often give advise about using washables. Try Googling ‘nappy fair’ or contact your local National Childbirth Trust group for more info.

Life after nappies

Once your baby is potty trained, you can use the terry squares as fantastic general mopper-uppers to have in the house. They are also useful handtowels for the bathroom, and bathroom polishing cloths, too.
