Terry towel baby wipes - surely not?

Picture
Surely so!

Here at mammasaver, we don't like spending anything more than we have to, especially on a product that is only used for a few seconds at a time.

New terry wipes

We were most interested to hear from a trusted friend about Cheeky Wipes. Essentially, they are terry towelling bottom wipes which you use in exactly the same way as moist wipes.

mammasaver's friend explained that she finds them much better than moist wipes - more absorbent and holds the poo, instead of wiping it around.

No smell
If you follow the instructions on their website, you don't have to handle or indeed smell the poo all - it's all rather discreetly contained in their bag and box. Apparently, you really can't smell anything at all.

mammasaver's trusted friend comments:

"I can confirm all is true about the cheeky wipes. They are way better than the throwaway wipes at cleaning.

The hardest part is when the cheeky wipes are in the wash, we have to revert then to the disposable wipes. Best way to describe using them... not so much cleaning but poo herding!"

Cost vs. saving
The kit costs £35 and the company claim that over their lifetime will save you £200.

Once you're at the post-potty training stage, you will also have a small collection of useful mopper-uppers, polishers, glasses cleaners...
